Ideas for motivational workshops include brainstorming, role playing and active involvement of participants.

• Johari window - this motivational workshop idea improves self-awareness. It has four regions- ‘open area’ is information that the person knows about himself that others know about him, ‘blind spot’ is information that the person does not know about himself, but others know, ‘hidden area’ is information that the person knows about himself but others don’t, ‘unknown area’ is information where no one knows. The objective is to develop the ‘open area’.

• Room Escape Games - this is a bonding activity that requires patience, logic, teamwork and leadership skills. A group of people gets locked in a room for an hour, during which they have to find hidden objects, solve puzzles and locate the key to set them free.

• Psychological Iceberg Exercise - this exercise can be used as a starting point for activities related to balancing work and life and well being, motivation and attitude and identifying hidden feelings. Employees draw an iceberg and begin to diagram factors that are associated with their work environment or life. The factors listed in the tip will be visible to the world, while the lower down ones become difficult to see.
